A colourful day

The blue car was in use this week at a wedding in Harpenden. The bride wanted a colourful theme to the day so she asked for the Austin to be decorated with red ribbons. The bridesmaids wore bright red and blue dresses and the bride's bouquet was yellow and orange. I understand they were going to use Clarice Cliff crockery at the reception to brighten things up. I hope there were no breakages!
It was a fairly low-key wedding but it was cheerful, bright and great fun.
Driving the blue car has encouraged me to promote it a little more energetically and I am tempted to take it along to the wedding fair next week. Did I mention the wedding fair? It's on Sunday 21st April at the Alban Arena in St Albans, starting at 11:00am and ending at 4:00pm. Kathryn, Karl and two vintage Austin cars will accompany me and you can be sure of a warm welcome if you come along. Our stand will also feature some wonderful hand-crafted papercut greetings cards by Suzanne Kordel. These exceptional cards can be personalised and really do add that personal touch. Finally, I was heartened to discover that the readership of the blog is growing and word has spread as far as the bleak wastelands of Shropshire. Hello Audrey!!
