Our Service
Heritage Classic Cars is based in Redbourn, near St Albans, Hertfordshire and provides vintage wedding cars throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our main areas of operation include St Albans, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Luton, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City and Watford. We can also travel farther afield. Vintage cars do travel quite slowly so time may be an issue on longer trips but please ask and we will be happy to discuss your journey details with you.
Your chauffeur will take you to your wedding venue and then onto your reception. Extra journeys or detours are absolutely fine if time permits. There is a time limit of four hours starting from the time of the first collection although longer hires can be arranged with prior notice. Prices are based on the mileage involved, starting and ending at our base in Redbourn.
We will carefully plan the route and timings of your journeys and agree these with you in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly. We even drive the route a few days before your wedding to check for road works or traffic problems.
It might be possible to make extra trips to take bridesmaids and other guests to the ceremony before returning to collect the bride. Alternatively, you can hire both cars.
Should your wedding and reception take place at the same venue, we are happy to take you on a drive around the vicinity before returning for photographs to be taken.
On your special day, you have exclusive use of the car. You will not be rushed because only one booking per day is accepted for each car.
We do encourage people to come and view the cars before making a decision. There is no pressure to make a booking and we always advise people to take a few days to think it over before going ahead.
