Terms
- A non-refundable deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking. The balance is due one month before the hire date. Failure to pay the balance in full by the due date will be deemed to be a cancellation of the booking and we will not provide a service in these circumstances. In addition, if the balance is not paid one month before the hire date, we reserve the right to accept bookings for the vehicle from other customers.
- The contract is for travel to the wedding venue and onwards to the reception. The most direct route will be taken unless the hirer specifically requests otherwise at the time of booking. Diversions and extra trips will be charged at £2 per mile.
- The booking is for a period of 4 hours starting from the time of first arriving at the collection address. Longer hire periods must be arranged before the wedding date.
- We endeavour to maintain our vehicles to the highest standards but in the event of a breakdown, puncture or accident, we will make every effort to provide a substitute vehicle. If it proves impossible to supply a substitute car within the time available, we shall make a full refund of the hire fee.
- In the event of us being unable to provide a service because of mechanical breakdown, accident, traffic problems, road works or severe weather we shall not be liable for any consequential losses and any liability on our part will be limited to the money paid to us by the hirer.
- Should any damage be caused to a vehicle by the hirer or their guests, the hirer will be liable for the full costs of repairs.
- We will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property left in a vehicle.
- By signing a booking form the hirer accepts these terms and conditions.
Privacy Policy
As part of my commitment to privacy, I have adopted this privacy policy.
I shall collect and process data about you if you complete a booking form, hiring one of my cars for your wedding travel. If you make contact with me, I may keep a record of any correspondence or emails. No other personal data will be collected and no marketing database will be maintained.
Uses made of the information
A completed booking form is the basis of our contract for the provision of wedding car transport. The information contained in the form will be used to plan routes, arrange timings, provide appropriate ribbons and confirm the price.
I will not use your personal data for marketing activities and will not share it with any third party organisations.
Your rights
You have the right to :-
• Access the personally identifiable information that is held about you. I'll usually share this with you within 30 days of you asking for it.
• Require me to correct the personal data I hold about you if it is incorrect.
• Require me to erase your personal data.
Please note that the above rights are not absolute, and I may be entitled to refuse requests where exceptions apply.
If you are dissatisfied with how I am processing your personal data, you can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner. You can also find out more about your rights under data protection legislation from the Information Commissioner's Office website available at: www.ico.org.uk.
Security
The security of your personally identifiable information is a priority to me. Unfortunately, no security system, or system of transmitting data over the internet, can be guaranteed to be 100 per cent secure. As a result, while I strive to protect your personally identifiable information, I cannot guarantee complete security. Electronic copies of completed booking forms are retained on my computer which is password-protected. Paper copies are also kept and stored securely in my office.
Retention of Data
I will retain your personal data for as long as it is required to provide wedding car hire and for legal, regulatory and my legitimate business purposes after the provision of such services. In relation to personal data relating to the transaction you have entered into with me, I will retain that data for period of seven years after that transaction has concluded in case any legal claims arise out of the provision of those Services.
Legal obligations
I may process your Personal Data for compliance with my legal obligations. In this respect, I may use your Personal Data for the following:-
• To meet tax reporting requirements.
• To assist with investigations (including criminal investigations) carried out by competent authorities.
